It made me proud to watch my fellow frontier independent spirited Midwest citizens to do what they could do prevent flood damage by sand bagging and citizens possessed the intelligence and motivation to evacuate the flood levels when they became dangerous. I have much respect for the citizens of Cedar Rapids. Not once did I hear conspiracies of angry individuals of pallor exploding barges against makeshift sandbag barriers and levies to cause harm to minorities. The Cedar Rapid Mayor Kay Halloran and Iowa Governor Chet Culver did not race to the media cameras and cry how the flooding and human misery was G. W. Bush’s fault. The natural disaster must have been real bore to the news media since all they had to report on was the disaster and how citizens were proactively adjusting to the challenges. No ‘Mighty Whitey’ causing harm and suffering to the minorities.

Today’s diversity and Civil Rights has gone full circle since the 1950’s. In the 1950’s, diversity meant separate but equal. Schools, shops, and bathrooms for example were separated by race. Per Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Right Amendment, diversity meant every man was to be judged by his merit and not by his/her skin color. All facilities will be integrated. Now by today’s terms per Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, Spike Lee, and Mayor Ray Nagin, diversity and the show of compassion to minorities means areas must be color designated. Again based merely on the color of the skin, areas will be separate but equal.

Cedar Rapids is the second largest city in the state of Iowa. The estimated population of the three-county Metropolitan Area which includes nearby cities of Marion and Hiawatha, was 249,320 in 2006.  The U.S. Census Bureau estimated the actual city's population at 123,944 people in 2006.

As of the census of 2000, there were 120,758 people, 49,820 households, and 30,838 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,912.6 people per square mile (738.4/km²). There were 52,240 housing units at an average density of 827/sq mi (319/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 91.86% White, 3.71% African American, 0.25% Native American, 1.77% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 0.55% from other races, and 1.79% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino (Legal or Illegal) of any race were 1.71% of the population.

The red fire ant was accidentally introduced into the United States in 1929, when a cargo ship that had used soil as ballast arrived in Mobile Alabama from South America. The red fire ants initially spread throughout Alabama and Florida, but it didn't take them long to invade twelve of our southeastern states and Puerto Rico. In recent years, the red fire ant has spread as far west as California and as far north as Kansas and Maryland. Today the red fire ant habitat in the USA covers 300 million acres and it is growing all the time.

Again on Monday evening, I was enjoying a fine hand rolled cigar on my front porch with the red fire ant mound in my view. During the hour, I observed four brown anoles scratch the red fire ant mound, run off the mound, and pick of the red fire ants as the ants walked to the edge of the mound. From research on the Internet of brown anoles, I see that brown anoles will eat ants but it did not specifically state red fire ants. As the brown anole population flourishes here in Jacksonville Florida, I hope these little guys can naturally contain the red fire ant population. Step aside American Chameleon; this job is for the brown anole.

On November 16, 2007, the Courthouse Architectural Review Committee convened to review the new options under consideration by the City of Jacksonville and approved 4-1 to pursue the Administration's recommended option to build one 850,000-square-foot facility several blocks to the northwest of the current location. The Jacksonville City Council approved a $350 million county courthouse complex in April, 2008 that was supported by Mayor Peyton and Chief Circuit Judge Donald Moran. The contractor has ‘agreed’ to guarantee the price and the complex could be finished by the time Peyton leaves office June 30, 2011. The new courthouse complex is planned to take up four prime location city blocks instead of the single city block. The new courthouse complex is nothing more than a shrine to the unbridled growth of local government. The size of the City of Jacksonville government will have to be doubled just to fill the building for all the vacancy it will have.

If the City of Jacksonville was so devastated by the tax cut effects of the voter approved Property Tax Amendment, why is the City of Jacksonville government willing to break its neck to supply entitlements and funding to the 1000+ non-for-profit organizations to show compassion and continue to move forward with a county courthouse complex which has doubled in cost in the past eight years? Mayor John Peyton has just revealed the details on how he proposes funding a $972.3 million spending plan for 2008-2009. The City of Jacksonville spending has actually increased from last year by 1.8 percent.  The parasitic nanny state local government has completely ignored the wishes of the taxpayer. It is also very shameful that the City of Jacksonville would publically commit necessary public safety entities i.e. Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office & Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department to the immediate tax cut effects. It is my belief that Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is allowing the crime to escalate at the expense of the taxpayer’s safety so the taxpayer will scream and beg to pay more in local taxes. First priority should be given to the taxpayer, and then any remaining tax funds should be divided up among the non-necessary government functions. Even at a 1.8% growth, departments within the City of Jacksonville government are squealing like stuffed pigs brought to the slaughter.

The Mayor John Payton’s new anti-crime task force Jacksonville Journey is yet another new government initiative costing Jacksonville’s taxpayer additional 30 million dollars. Expansion of child care services to dead beat inner city parents and enabling morally challenged teenagers with free activities, is this really going to stop crime? The children are taken care on the tax-payer’s nickel allowing the dead-beat parents more time to commit even more crimes. All the City of Jacksonville government has done is further enable irresponsibility. How many non-for-profit programs were expanded which are managed by of your cronies from First Baptist Church Mayor John Payton?

If the City of Jacksonville government is so concerned about the sky rocketing cost of their beloved courthouse complex why don’t they consider locating the new courthouse in the middle of the worst crime ridden economic depressed community in Jacksonville. The land cost is much cheaper. This allows the City of Jacksonville to collect precious property tax revenue on premium priced land downtown. Most importantly this will make the City of Jacksonville government and Sheriff (Glorified Meter Maid) John Rutherford realize what an abject failure they have made local law enforcement because they have to work in it. If Mayor John Payton is so concerned about being ‘Green’ his law enforcement could save on CO2 from the patrol cars since the police do not have to drive as far to fight crime. Just walk across the street from the courthouse and perhaps raid a crack house for publicity to show how they are fighting crime.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has emboldened criminal activity over the years since the department’s main emphasis has been revenue generating moving violations. It is not bad enough that the law abiding citizens should be afraid of the bad elements in this community but also the Law Enforcement picking off the law abiding citizen(s) on slight moving violations for revenue generating purposes.

Give the tax paying law-abiding citizen a break from this tyrannical tax burden and also actually fight crime. Locate the new courthouse complex on Moncrief Road or in a vicinity between Arlington Expressway and Atlantic Blvd. The tax paying law abiding citizen will allow so much punishment between they decide to migrate to surrounding counties. At the rate the City of Jacksonville government is growing, Jacksonville could be another Detroit in 10 years. All that will be left will be the government-enabled citizens.

Within seconds the conversation between the male the fat ugly female is constantly interrupted by the Queen bee and the other pretty females in the clique vying for the male’s attention. The male should be polite to all the members of the female clique and occasionally imply that he may have interest in the pretty woman which he is conversing with when the other women in the clique are not paying attention to the male. Before long all the females in the female clique are competing for the male buying him food and drinks. The pretty women in the clique will go through great lengths to insure the fat ugly woman does not acquire the affection of the male. If the fat ugly woman is successful, the entire female social hierarchy collapses with weeks of vicious gossiping and back biting within the clique. Overtime the calm and social hierarchy returns to the female clique.

In the past four months, there have been three bridge suicide attempts here in Jacksonville Florida. The Mathews Bridge had one suicide attempt and the Dames Point Bridge has had two suicide attempts. Each time an inconsiderate drama queen decides he/she wants to contemplate a bridge suicide the entire bridge is shut down in both traffic directions by the police authorities so that the drama queen can be begged and bribed off the bridge. While the bridge is closed, tens of thousands of commuters are inconvenienced affecting their schedules, lost of market productivity, and extra carbon waste since we are so concerned about the environment. Some unfortunate individuals are plain just stuck on the bridge. Some commuters are not allowed to move forward and not allowed to back up off the bridge, they are also technically held hostage on the bridge for hours at the whim of the suicide drama queen. All right Liberals here is your chance to chime in about ‘Collective’ rights; the rights of all the petroleum burning commuters or the single right of the suicide drama queen.

Better yet Barack Hussein Obama could pardon all of America’s registered sexual child predators and send them with a one-way ticket to Saudi Arabia so that they can assimilate into Sharia law as a sign of diversity and cultural sensitivity. American’s children would be safer and registered sexual child predators are doing what they enjoy somewhere else. The only sacrifice the registered sexual child predators would have to make is pray five times a day and eliminate his/her consumption of alcohol.

I think the concept of rotating buildings is going to cause more problems than the Muslims realize. How about during the 5 times a day prayer? Whose side of the building is going to face Mecca? Sunnis or Shias. Will the neighbors on the floor declare Jihad on each other and start firing rockets down the building hallway causing the building to collapse? But of course blame the building’s destruction on the Jews in Israel or the Zionist in America.

Try to debate an Orwellian Liberal on any given Stalinist policy and the debate can never be logically concluded without flawed data, and/or the debatable point quickly changes to another topic before the Liberal can ever concede their point, and/or the debate quickly turns personal. The ordained self-importance and the insistent desire to win at any cost are very strong characteristics of any Orwellian Liberal. Any environmental factor which challenges or threatens’ the Orwellian Liberal self importance is a license to attack. It is humorous when I googled these words that matched this type of behavior and the word Narcissism was returned in my search.

Animal Abuse

Every person is judged by the way they treat others and the animals they have in their care.

There are many pet owners but few pet lovers. When a person takes on the responsibility of a dog,cat,bird or whatever they are taking that life into their hands. Dogs are especially vulnerable because they are so loyal to their masters. Even if the master beats them,starves them or neglects their needs the dog will still be their ready to give affection and loyalty beyond measure.It is my strong belief that a man who abuses his animals will abuse their wive's,kids and anyone else in their life. They seem to lack the moral turpitude to feel compassion for anyone or anything but themselves. Usually miserable people in general.

I have a neighbor who falls into this category. He appears to be intelligent but sorrowfully lacks any people skills at all and is most abusive to the dog in his back yard. Even being sited and fined by animal control has done nothing to improve the conditions of the animal. It seems this sub-man uses this poor animal to wreak vengeance on those around him who truly care for animals and do what they can for this poor dog.

There will be day of reckoning and this person will have to answer for his misdeeds in the after world and hopefully the law will mete out justice in this world.

As you can see, this neighbor thinks they are the measure of an individual who should own an animal. Walking my dog 1 1/2 miles every night, stocked self-feeder, maintained shots, and living outside in the back yard is animal abuse in their mind. My neighbor has called animal control so many times for false accusations they do not even take them seriously anymore. The citation I received was caused because someone else released the dog hoping it would run away. This allowed the potential for my dog to attack another animal. I vandal proofed the backyard for the protection of my dog from a animal lover. So much for this animal lover really caring for animals. Since I am so cruel to my dog I am also cruel to people. Me miserable? I am not the one initiating spite. What makes neighbor Dr. Dolittle such so special with the animals?

This neighbor does not allow his brother-in-law, a registered sexual predator, to live at his primary residence where they have a garage apartment on their city block but the registered sexual predator is good enough to live in the neighbor’s home/office property on my block. If they are so concerned about their fellow neighbors and children why allow a registered sexual predator to live on a city block which has children? So much caring for the children. The narcissism is so strong it allows one to disassociate their own deficiencies and failures from their self-importance and public show of false caring.

The Narcissist believes their self importance gives them privileges to dictate lifestyle changes of others, conveys other's private property for their own need and release of consequences from their social cause. Fascism becomes the next mental evolution from Narcissism.

The father of Communism Karl Marx had this kind of narcissistic self-importance. In his mind, Karl Marx viewed the human civilization was just a bunch of stupid lambs led to the workforce by the dim-witted bully bourgeoisie. His economic policy was somehow divinely inspirited by a divine being like Moses being instructed to compile the 10 Commandments. His economic policy was so successful; the Marx family lived in poverty and constant fear of creditors. His self-importance was more important than the well being of his family. Not a good example for Father of the Year. Consequences are in material to the effort of promoting one's self-importance and social cause. Karl Marx was too good to work and achieve by his own merit, others undeserving of material possessions were expected to bequeath gifts from the masses like wise men delivering gifts to baby Jesus.

In today's political events observe how progressive presidential candidates like Barack Hussein Obamareceives praise. His followers address him as the Messiah. When I hear him speak about his proposed government policies the private citizen may only achieve some level of mediocrity lifestyle through submissiveness to a tyrannical government. He likes to use the word 'Collectivism' in his speeches. The private citizen is too stupid to utilize their own merit and resources to their full potential. Government policy and government agencies have to be in charge of the ‘Change’.

For people who melt in the proximity of Christianity, they sure like to convey the same titles of spiritual entities to themselves. This is the level of self-importance that these Fascist in government view themselves. The un-washed masses are viewed as nothing more than a potential forced labor pool to work the rice patties.

I am in absolute believe that Narcissism creates anger and rage which might explain why Orwellian Liberals are always unhappy and why they are so self-destructive. Like our parents always reminding us, there is always a bigger frog in the pond. No matter how successful or smart you think you are there is always someone a little better. Humility taught to us to either take one of two life’s pathes; try to achieve more or accept the level of where we are at in life. Narcissism does not allow one to allow another to be at any level but below the Narcissist. The Narcissist will perform any action necessary to bring others below them. It also explains why the Narcissist will attack a Christian and decimate the Judeo-Christian moral civilization and promote Islam knowing that Christianity allowed the Narcissist to have a better living but if it harms the Christian, then the sacrifice of Christianity and the Narcissist way of life. If both are harmed then it is worth the sacrifice. If the Narcissist is not more important, no one else can be important except the channel which helps the Narcissist bring down the immediate perceived threat of self-importance.

The worldview of Narcissism also means there is a hierarchy of submission. There is no equality. This is probably another reason why Orwellian Liberals promote Islam. There is an unholy alliance between the Orwellian Liberal lifestyle and the Muslim’s temporary tolerance to the Orwellian Liberal lifestyle according to the Koran. The Orwellian Liberal will eventually face the same fate as other non-believers if they are in the hands of Islam.

Deep in my prayers I pray for this Republic. I hope Americans can break this Narcissistic mental illness by teaching humility and Judeo-Christian morality to our next generations.

The conservation over time weaved back and forth between economics & politics and anything in between. The American Indian gentleman decided to break the tension in the air and change the subject a bit. Since the whole group was tired of discussing National politics, we figured the Indian was just going to tell a joke to lighten up the mood in the cigar store. The Indian titled the story ‘Indian Crabs’.

Two little boys decide to go crabbing and walk to the river. One little boy has a bucket with a top on it and the other has a bucket without a top. The boy with the bucket that has a top on it said to the other little boy, ‘Aren’t you worried about your caught crabs escaping without a top on the bucket?’. The boy with the bucket without the top responded, ‘No, I am catching Indian crabs, the escaping crab will be quickly pulled down by the fellow Indian crabs in the bucket’. The Indian then looked at all of us and stated, that folks is the source of America’s problem.

From the powerful short story, it made me realize how mentally sick this country has become in the name of government compassion and Liberalism. The population under government entitlements and those willing to submit themselves to an Orwellian control is ever growing. By the voting habits of voters, I would suspect that we are close to the 50% mark. The sickness or obsession of those under government control to actively pursue others who are trying to climb out of misery and pull them back into the cesspool of misery and mediocrity. Those who spite success and achievement of others are willing to strip themselves of the ability to succeed just for the explicit purpose of eliminating another’s ability to achieve and succeed.

So many of this country’s symptoms of poor economic and moral health can be traced back to the root of this National mental illness. Don’t like the fact another is doing well, progressively increase the tax rates on the high achievers. Don’t like the fact your child is failing in school, force lower educational standards on other schools or force busing of high achievers to inter-city schools. Don’t like the moral code of the Judeo-Christian religion, ban it and force everyone to submit to Islam so everyone is miserable.

I sure hope in my lifetime, this country has the ability and willingness to fight off this mental illness before it is too late.

The current energy policy mantra is ‘America must conserve more energy and seek alternate energy sources like wind and solar as long as it does not block my scenic view of Nantucket Sound’. Our tyrannical parasitic Federal Government is hell bent on enforcing further servitude to collectivism through creating these energy shortage conditions to force rationing of energy. Maxine Waters (D-CA) has already let the cat out of the bag in public hearings with the Big Oil executives in May 2008 by expressing the desire of nationalize the oil companies in her verbal exchanges with the Big Oil executives.

America is one of the fattest populations on earth. Even with all the Liberal (Socialist) rhetoric about how dreadful the American economy is and how much human misery exist due to it, the proof is our economically poorest demographics are still the fattest per capita. Poverty produces emaciated bodies just google images of poverty in Ethiopia. Affluence promotes obesity.

With the Liberal (Socialist) mindset to mandate a Nationalized healthcare system and seeking alternative energy sources, I am surprised no one in Congress has submitted an alternate energy bill promoting Federal funded liposuction in the disguise of National Healthcare. When (not if) the Federal Government Nationalizes healthcare, they will soon realize that obese citizens are more expensive to treat than us athletic healthy citizens. The Federal Government will be forced to further ration healthcare and mandate all citizens to live within a BMI (Body Mass Index) range or order mandatory liposuctions in the name of government caring to help maintain the inefficient nationalized healthcare system. The human fat from the liposuction could be collected by the Nationalized healthcare system and processed into Biofuels by the Nationalized petroleum agency. Something like the whale blubber industry in the 1800’s for lamp oil being revitalized.

Over time as the America’s population grows so will it’s need for energy. Will the Federal government conduct an annual round up of obese citizens at the Golden Corrals & public housing centers and transport them to the local government run liposuction centers because America needs more biofuels? Would the government be desperate enough to force feed cornmeal to welfare recipients on a fat farm for the purpose of harvesting human fat? I am going to be on the record of saying Yes. I seriously doubt that a politician is going to be very concerned where their airplane fuel came from to transport them on a political junket. It actually gives an obese deadbeat welfare recipient a purpose in life.
